Welcome To "A Deceptive Truth" Blog-Spot!

The purpose of this blog is to allow for people from every religion, faith, or background to have the opportunity to ask questions about the Christian/Messianic faith, to ask for prayer, to give a testimony of faith, to encourage or be encouraged, to search for scriptural truths, and for fellowship of the believers. But more importantly, we desire to help gather the "Weeds" of Deception which have been planted among the "Wheat" of Truth, expose them for what they are-LIES, and guide one another in spiritual truth. (Matthew 13:24-30) This is what we call "A Deceptive Truth", for they proclaim teachings of truth, but are actually an "inheritance of lies"! (Jeremiah 16:19)

While we may not agree on several aspects regarding the faith/religion, we pray that all who visit teaches, corrects, encourages, and blogs with love for all visitors. If we should love our enemies, then we should love our fellow brothers and sisters of the faith, regardless of our disagreements. In case of disagreements, we pray that all can "Agree to Disagree".

We ask all followers of the faith to remember, we have one common enemy and should fight the good fight of faith as one body, instead of fighting each other while letting the enemy infiltrate the church. Debate if you must, but please do so with love.

Jesus or Yeshua/Yahshua?

According to Phillipians 2:5-11, the name of our Savior contains such a great power, that at the mention of His name "every knee should bow". Most scholars agree that the Name given to our Savior at birth, as commanded by "the angel of the Lord", was Yeshua/Yahshua and not Jesus. With that knowledge, many people have stirred up a debate as to whether or not prayer should be made in the name of Yeshua or Yahshua instead of Jesus. Many have even claimed that the name Jesus has origins in the followers of Zeus, hence the Latin name pronounced, "Hay-Zeus". Is this pure conspiracy? Or is there legitimate reason to believe that scriptures and the faith have historically been altered through demonic/Satanic deception from the truth? Consider the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares (Matthew 13:24-30)...
